CHOI Yeong-geol

Born in 1968 in Seoul. Contemporary Korean artist Choi Yeong-Geol specialises in oriental realism landscape painting which display a harmony between tradition and contemporary society. The artist exhibits the balance between human and the nature through his natural scenery paintings and implies the coexistence of nature and human.

His art is often expressed by oriental medium and watercolor. Choi sophisticatedly depicts the landscape in detail and to display the venerable power of the nature. His works are showcased in several international art fair including KIAF in Seoul, Korea and Art Dubai in Dubai. His works are also collected by Seoul Museum of Art and National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea.
