MADSAKI

Born in 1974, Osaka, Japan. MADSAKI migrated to New York at a young age and received his BFA from Parsons School of Design, New York, NY in 1996. He worked as a member of the international artist group Barnstormers before starting his solo career based in Tokyo and New York, ranging from elaborative drawings to huge installations. Through his works MADSAKI challenges and stirs the stereotype values of various systems we encounter in daily life. MADSAKI’s solo exhibitions were held in major cities including Bangkok, Seoul, Tokyo, Los Angeles, and Paris.
