Sabala is a painter from Barcelona who records life experiences through creation. Her works of art depicting humorous situations encourage people to face life setbacks. Sabala lived in Raval, a place famous for its nightlife, where she observed dressed-up women and guests every day for over twenty years. The nightclubs, parties, and circus scenes filled with laughter and entertainment have become an inspiration for the artist. In her works, the human body is plump but the limbs are slender with exaggerated and vivid body movements; elegance and playfulness bring out a smile on the viewer’s face.
