CHAN Tso-tao


Taiwanese 1925


Born in Jiangyin. He graduated in the 26th flight department from Chinese Air Force Academy School. Fly for thirty years and amateurish thirty years of research pottery art, he has been as the artistic factory director of ceramics factory and concurrently technological manager of The Palace Museum after retiring. And the pottery art teacher in Pacific Cultural Foundation, one pair of main committees in The Chinese Ceramic Society, association's director and main committee in Ceramic Society and the judge member of many units' pottery arts. He successively issued technological break-through on his glazes of copper red and green double-colored. He had five times personal exhibitions, over one hundred times joint exhibitions, patrol the widely different exhibition aboard many times, the works got every one of "Modern Hall" of the Palace Museum and took advantage of exhibition, and accepted the classical-collection in History Museum, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, cultural center and multinational head, etc.
