ZHU Yan
Chinese 1982
Born in 1982 in Hebei, China, Zhu Yan graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Tianjin Acade- my of Fine Arts, and taught afterwards at the Afiliat- ed High School of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. He now lives in Beijing working as a professional artist. He has participated in exhibitions including "The 1st Contemporary Art Exhibition of Coast Terminal" (2007, Beijing); "MULPA 798 – Mind + Body" (2007, Beijing); "Art Space" (2008, USA). And he has re- cently held his solo exhibition "Zhu Yan" at Can Art Center in Beijing (2008).
