WANG Qingsong

Born in Heilongjiang Province, China, in 1991 he graduated from the Oil Painting Dept. of the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts. From 1993, he lives and works in Beijing. Important exhibitions: "Wang Qingsong: Present-day Epics" (2003, Canada); "Wang Qingsong" (2004, USA); "Wang Qingsong in Arras",(2005, France); "Photo Biennale" (2006, Russia); "Wang Qingsong: Between Nostalgia and Cynicism". (2007, Brazil); "Wang Qingsong"(2008, UK). His artwork has been collected by the Billstone Foundation (Spain), San Diego Museum of Art (USA), K20 and K21 (Dusseldorf, Germany) and the Cisneros Foundation (Miami, USA).
