Masriel

Indonesian　1969

Born in Indonesia in 1969, Masriel is a realist artist who lives in Bukit Tinggi. He has been interested in art since he was young and was enlightened by his junior high school teacher. After graduating from the SMSR Art School, Masriel started to paint portraits in Yogja from 1990 to 1994. In 2011, Masriel was featured in a spectacular exhibition of emerging Contemporary Indonesian Art at "Cultural Bridge 2011" in New York. Exhibition: 2009 "Group Exhibition by Ahmand Syahbandi, Masriel and Zirwen", Bandung.
