Lee Kyoung-mi was born in 1977 in Korea; she received M. F. A. degree in Painting from Hong-ik University, Seoul. Her first solo exhibition was held in 2005 and immediately gained massive attention from the art circle and the public. Since then, her artistic concept and painting skill have had outstanding progress and her talent is widely recognized. Her works not only echo with the characteristics of Baroque paintings, but also inherit the discussion of perspective and viewpoint since Cézanne. Lee held successive solo and joint exhibitions in Seoul, Beijing, and Hong Kong.
