ZHANG YI RONG

Chinese　1979

Born in Shaanxi, Zhang first learnt traditional ink painting from her father, Zhang Xiubiao. She was awarded a Bachelor of Literature from the Communication University of China in 2001, apprenticed in traditional ink painting under Liu Dan in 2005, and earned a Master of Literature from Peking University in 2008. She is an excellent female artist slowly drawing the eyes of the modern ink painting world.
