KIM Taeho


Korean 1948


Kim Taeho is a Korean visual artist who was born in 1948. Kim Taeho graduated from the Painting Department in 1972, and the School of Education from Hongik University in Seoul, Korea in 1984. He has held several solo exhibitions worldwide from 1977 onwards in addition to the latest group exhibition at the Art of Hamptons in New York in 2014. The exhibition The Color of Nature, Monochrome Art in Korea : Collections from the Busan Museum of Art was one of the group exhibitions held at Taipei Fine Arts Museum in 2010, in which Kim exhibited the essence of Korean modern art. Kim Taeho was awarded with a Grand Prize at the Space International Print Exhibition in Seoul, Korea in 1982; Grand Prize at the 2nd Buil Art in Busan Korea in 2003 among other honorable awards. His works are in the collection of Busan Municipal Museum of Art, Busan, Korea; Simonoseki Museum in Japan, The British Museum in London, England; Museum of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in China, etc.
