PANG Maokun

Pang Maokun was born in Chongqing in 1963. He attended Sichuan Fine Art Institute from 1977 to 1988 where he obtained a Master’s degree in Oil Painting. He is the Executive Director of Chongqing Art Museum as well as the Vice President of Sichuan Fine Art Institute. Pang’s works are in the Collection of National Art Museum of China , China; National History Museum of China; Shanghai Museum of Art; Shenzhen Museum of Art and Mountain Art Museum in Taiwan. Selected Solo Exhibitions: 1992 “Pang Maokun Painting Exhibition”, Dragon Art Museum, Kaohsiung, Taiwan; 2006 “Gouache Works by Pang Maokun”, Three Gorges Museum, Chongqing, China; 2010 “Deviated Scenes: Sketches, Paintings and Notes by Pang Maokun”, K Gallery, Chengdu, China; 2014 “Resetting the Perception: Pang Maokun’s Art (2012-2014)”, Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts, Taipei, Taiwan.
