Choi Young Wook


Korean 1964


Graduated from Hong Ik University, majored in painting in 1991, and years later, Choi Young Wook acquired the M.F.A form the same University in 2000. He focuses on developing the figure of the Moon Jar, which was a popular type of white porcelains in late period of Kingdom of Joseon (1392-1910), onto the canvas. Choi also acquired his frame world-widely with this particular at works. His works have been collected by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Philadelphia Museum of Art.
