WU JITAO

Wu Jitao was born in Suzhou, China. Yan Wenliang, a renowned oil painter, was Wu’s mentor. Wu graduated from the Stage Design department at Chung Yuan Art Institute. His paintings feature the Jiangnan water town scenes. Wu once worked as stage designer for a theatrical company in Jiangsu in 1962. He is currently a member of China Institute of Stage Design.
