Yang San-Lang was like all the impressionism painters, he painted from life or nature, paid attention to the change of the day light and shadows that change with it, he faced the nature directly in order to strengthen what each stroke could be done on the canvas, he often used the blade and the brush at the same time, to emphasize the feel and quantity of the picture, and further give life to the picture with his magic touch. He founded the "TaiYang Art Association" and was awarded "The Medal of National Culture" which is the highest honor.
