Finely cast by refined copper with a golden tinge, with a compressed globular body rising to a flared rim from a short foot, flanked by two lionhead handles, the base with an inscription cut in relief reading Daming Xuande Nianzhi (Made in the Years of Xuande of Ming Dynasty).
