This lot is cast seated in vajraparyankasana with the hands held in dhyana mudra and in place to support a vessel containing the elixir of longevity, the face with serene expression framed by a foliate five-point tiara, a billowing sash encircling the shoulders and arms, adorned with elaborate beaded jewellery including large scrolling pendant earrings, dressed in a dhoti with finely chased borders, raised on a double-lotus base, sealed and with a chased double-vajra. This lot is a great addition to any collection of 15th century Tibetan religious art.
