DAOGUANG AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)

Of tapering baluster form, decorated with six protruding vertical panels, all enameled with scenes of birds, grasshopper and cicada amidst flowering branches of the four seasons below a band of lappets encircling the shoulder, interspersed with stylised foliage scrolls against a yellow ground, the base with a red-enameled four-character kaishu mark.
