Made with sturdy bronze, the piece feels solid in the hand. The censer has a round opening with a flat rim and a cylindrical abdominal. On the walls of the abdominal are three sets of extravagant blessings in Begonia style with Arabic carvings. The vessel has a flat base supported by three Short Cloud style legs. On the bottom, the four characters Made in the Zhengde Period are written across two lines in seal script and are embossed in a square frame in the middle. This censer is an exceptional vessel with classic color, elegant shape and detailed placement of contours.
