The ChampagneMichel Drappiermakes are not just technically correct; they have real personality, in an opulent, hedonistic style that is highly distinctive expression of Pinot Noir grown on the rich Kimmeridgian soils of the Cote des Bar. ~ Michael Edwards Drappier 香檳創建於 1908 年，由位於 Urville 附近 40 公頃的葡萄園 開始，逐漸拓展至現今的 70 公頃，主要種植 Pinot Noir，餘下的 30% 則種植 Chardonnay 與 Pinot Meunier 做為混合調配之用。有趣的是， 在白堊土土壤上種植 Pinot Noir 可以說是前所未聞的，早年於勃根 地的 Beaune 學習釀酒的酒莊現任掌門 Michel Drappier 認為這便是僅 屬於 Drappier 的風土條件，於是將這樣特殊的風土概念發揮得淋漓 盡致，所釀造出的香檳都有著更加緊密的結構與更為豐厚的口感。 Drappier Carte d'Or 是酒廠最為經典的一個系列，而 1976 年更是酒廠 最引以為傲的年份之一，40 年的窖藏為其帶來誘人的金銅色澤，優 雅的花朵、甜美的糖漬水果，口感細緻飽滿而平衡。
