Ducru-Beaucaillou 位列波爾多二級酒莊，酒莊名稱意寓著美麗的礫石。自1953 年起聘請Château Margaux 與Cheval Blanc 的釀酒顧問、也是法國最著名釀酒師之一的Emile Peynaud 擔任釀酒顧問後，在其一貫的溫和細膩風格上，品質開始有著顯著的提升，在波爾多偉大年份如1961、1982、1986 等都有極優益的表現，被譽為超級二級酒莊。

The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannin, good body and depth, a little sinew remaining after all these years and therefore, not the most finessed 1961 you can find.
