Puligny-Montrachet 與 Chassagne-Montrachet 兩個產區坐擁全勃根地最閃耀的五個白葡萄特級園， 更是共享了Bâtard-Montrachet 和Montrachet 兩塊葡萄園，儘管比鄰若此，兩個村卻各有其特色。來自Puligny-Montrachet 的白酒多半香氣濃郁，在清新的花香與青蘋果的香氣間，總能找到一股微微堅硬冷冽的礦物質地，酸度清朗；Chassagne-Montrachet 則散發著蜜糖般的熱帶水果與烘烤堅果的氣息，酒體較為圓潤。而兩村所共有的Montrachet 位在山坡中段，是為勃根地白酒的至尊，風格華美。上坡處的Chevalier-Montrachet 細緻優雅，位於下坡地塊的Bâtard-Montrachet 及Bienvenus-Bâtard-Montrachet 則濃厚豐滿。
