A hint of exoticism with a menthol kicker add nuance to the mildly toasty nose that is gorgeously complex and as it virtually always does, it seems to combine most of the elegance of a classic Chevalier with most of the power and depth of a classic Montrachet though from one vintage to another, it can reflect more of the character of one than the other.
