It has a superb, quite voluptuous bouquet with precise, small dark cherries, boysenberry and fresh strawberry fruit that are packed tightly together. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy brambly fruit, perhaps a little simple compared to other vintages (especially more recent ones) but quite “punchy” and bold.
