膜拜酒(Cult Wine) 是葡萄酒界的一大傳奇。膜拜酒並不特指某幾支酒款或酒莊,而是從1980 年代開始自成一格的概念與風潮,膜拜酒向世人展現了北美、澳洲、義大利、西班牙等地除了大規模生產的葡萄酒之外,亦能夠生產精緻酒款。所有膜拜酒共通的特色是產量極低,相較於如拉菲(ChateauLafite) 一年三萬箱的產量,膜拜酒的年產量僅數百箱,在物以稀為貴的市場運作策略與Robert Parker 等酒評家一致的高分好評下,膜拜酒在美國加州的納帕山谷(Napa Valley) 誕生,嘯鷹酒莊(Screaming Eagle)、哈蘭酒莊(Harlan Estate)、鑽石谷(Diamond Creek)、卡慕(Caymus)、多米諾斯(DominusEstate) 等莊園相繼崛起。九零年代中後期,膜拜酒的價格不斷刷新世界紀錄,幾經轉手與公開拍賣後,價格可達上萬美元一瓶,遠遠超越波爾多級數酒莊,更超越了五大酒莊葡萄酒的價格。
